ABOUT

Morwell is a British / Croatian multi-instrumentalist and producer based in the North East UK.

His productions explore the past and future of the UK bass / soundsystem tradition, drawing on sound collage, IDM, dub, garage, drum & bass and more.

He has released solo EPs, albums, and mixtapes covered by DJ Mag, the Quietus, and Bandcamp Editorial, appeared on influential experimental R&B label Ghost Phone, on award winning compilations by LA’s Juke Bounce Werk collective, been played on BBC 6 Music and Radio 1, and been a guest on Rinse FM and NTS.

In 2024, Morwell marked 5 years of releases by sharing an archive of 130 tracks, inaugurating the new label Spiritual Transmissions, and creating a live show for 2025.
